About the volunteering opportunity

Would you like to pitch in outdoors and make a difference for children and teens with your help? Then support MANNA Westend in preparing the grounds for fall and winter.
The spacious, green outdoor area is an important gathering place for children and teens. To ensure this special place can continue to be used well even after summer, it needs your support now.

Your Tasks

  • You'll help with various gardening tasks, such as raking leaves, weeding, repotting, and pruning plants and trees

What's needed

For this volunteering opportunity you don't need any German skills.
English would be an advantage, but it's not a requirement.

What to bring

  • Weather-resistant clothing that can get dirty
  • Enjoyment of gardening

MANNA Westend is an open children’s and youth center for 6- to 27-year-olds. With programs focused on nature, political education, and civic engagement, MANNA creates a space where young people can actively shape their free time, try new things, discover their own strengths, and take on responsibility.
The large, green grounds offer a wide range of activities, from open drop-in sessions, cooking, and music to crafts, gardening, and nature projects. MANNA provides young people with a space to flourish, experience community, and get involved in the neighborhood.
