About the volunteering opportunity

Do you like to get your hands dirty, enjoy being outdoors, and maybe even have a green thumb? Then help us turn an overgrown lot into a new space for children and teens! 

The KJHV Foundation’s property is currently still heavily overgrown with shrubs, branches, and underbrush. We’d like to make this area accessible again and gradually develop it into an additional outdoor and play area for the children. Where dense underbrush grows today, new space will be created in the future.

Your Tasks

  • Trimming Branches, Shrubs, and Overgrown Vegetation 
  • Working Together to Tidy Up

What's needed

For this volunteering opportunity you don't need any German skills.
  • A willingness to roll up your sleeves and not shy away from physical labor
  • A passion for gardening

What to bring

  • Sturdy footwear and appropriate clothing 
  • Garden tools, if available
