Join the Repair Café against the "throw-away" culture

The aim of the Repair Café of PSV Treptow e.V. is to work together to counteract the throwaway culture with sustainability and (repair) knowledge. Household appliances and objects that are actually dear to us are often thrown away because they are not worth repairing, because we lack the knowledge to do so or because it is cheaper to buy something new directly as a replacement.

Working together with others in a relaxed atmosphere over coffee or tea in the Repair Café, repairing and passing on knowledge in a specialist field. It is a volunteer meeting where participants can repair broken things alone or together with others. Tools and materials for all kinds of repairs are available, for example for clothing, furniture, electrical appliances, bicycles, toys and much more. Repair experts are also present on site.

You should enjoy dexterity and being with others. If you know something about electronical things, that could be helpful for the volunteering.
