About the volunteering opportunity
We are looking for volunteer support to replant and redesign the garden together with the residents. The aim is to create an inviting place to meet, exchange ideas and relax.
Your Tasks
- Fill raised beds with soil and plant flowers
- Plant more beds with herbs and shrubs
- Plant flowers in the front garden
- If necessary, put up a bird feeder and nesting boxes
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity you don't need any German skills.
Enjoying gardening is an advantage.
What to bring
Please wear suitable clothing for gardening. If available, please bring small hand shovels.
Coffee, tea, water and cookies will be provided on site. Various restaurants in the immediate vicinity are available for lunch.

On behalf of the State Office for Refugee Affairs (LAF), the LfG-B has been operating permanent or temporary accommodation for refugees in Berlin since 2017.
In reception facilities and shared accommodation, the LfG-B provides accommodation for refugees. In addition, it accompanies these people through social work as well as children's and youth work to build an independent life in Germany, to actively participate in social life and to develop positive, sustainable prospects.
